Do you have links (outside of the FBI) that states King took part in or was witness to women being raped? Being a philanderer is a far cry from a rapist.
Thus far, only Garrow reading the FBI summation of the event. As I read on about King, it is highly plausible that this rape actually occurred as the FBI documented.
Equally disturbing is the lack of response by the FBI listening live in the adjoining room. At what point do the FBI stop a crime? What if she or he was a minor child? Or if the rapist proceeded to beat, torture, or kill her? Why does the FBI witness this crime and merely spectate?
The FBI agents witnessing King’s orgies must have been terribly disappointed when their years of free PORN shows ended with King’s death.
King had a wife, three regular girlfriends, and a line of groupies and attendees from his sermons/ speeches seeking to have sex as he traveled. There were orgies on a regular basis. This scenario of a rape in his presence goes with the territory of those documented sexual activities.
While I did not go to the source, yet. This excerpt from “The American Citadel” came from the March 1968 document dump of a grouping of previously sealed JFK files. It details how King was coercing women to perform lesbian sex acts for the entertainment of onlookers.

It is well-established that King frequently engaged in drunken sex orgies – especially on his road trips. The FBI report contained this account of an “urban leadership” conference hosted by King:

“As early as January, 1964, King engaged in another two-day, drunken sex orgy in Washington, D.C. Many of those present engaged in sexual acts, natural as well as unnatural, for the entertainment of onlookers.

Actually, I have accepted the fact that Michael King was a perverted degenerate louse of the worse order and nothing further about his sexual exploits would be surprising; it fits his character. “.., judge a man by his character and not the color of his skin... blah, blah, blah.” Done that Mike King.

Most disturbing to me are the revelations of King’s ties, guidance, funding, support and involvement with the Communist Party coupled with his application with the State dept. to visit Russia in 1964 (it was refused.)
