Well, I addressed the issue, and even managed to quote you, and suggested it needed to be vastly rewritten, namely remove the claims he was a republican. We’ll see how they decide.
I’m still doubtful that he’s a communist, however. A useful idiot to the Communists? Sure. But not a fellow traveler and certainly not an adherer to Communism, any more than Nixon was by aiding Mao Zedong, or Abraham Lincoln was for having Horace Greeley as a key member of his party or his corresponding with Karl Marx. And the main reason I doubt that is because of that essay he wrote where he specifically denounced it as incompatible with Christianity. Yes, I am fully aware that leftists tend to lie, but here’s the thing, the leftists also tend to craft their lies in such a manner that they actually CAN advance their goal and destroy their opposition. Claiming that Communism is irreconcilable with Christianity, and more importantly, that Communism must never be embraced because of its atheism, whether a lie or the truth (and I definitely know it’s the latter) does NOT advance communism in any way, and if anything outright hinders it. You want an example of leftist liars actually advancing Communism while posing as Christians? Look at Vladimir Putin, as he posed as a Christian, and also managed to claim that Lenin’s statutes and the Saints relics were inseparable, and also claimed the same for the tenants for both Communism and Christianity, and Pope Francis couldn’t even do an even worse job at hiding his being a Communist despite wearing papal robes. Heck, just look at Liberation Theology, which actually DID paint them as inseparable in order to infiltrate the church. And it’s not a claim that MLK was friends with Nixon, either. There’s even photographic evidence to it as well. Case in point: https://www.conservapedia.com/images/7/71/Nixon-and-Martin-Luther-King.png

As FReeper Beautiful_Gracious_Skies said, “If it walks like a duck...” When you need Harry Belafonte, who has never yet found a Communist dictator he doesn’t praise, to handle and manage you for a tv talk show, you cannot possibly be signaling where you stand any louder. The more you dig into MLK’s life, the uglier it gets. A photo op with Nixon won’t change that.
We’re going in circles with this discussion.
