Infidelity = Infidelity. Period.

But some men, politicians especially, take it to a whole exceptional level.

There’s cheating by having AN affair with another woman or perhaps a serial of affairs with A woman over decades. Singular

JFK, MLK, and Slick or of another breed as they regularly exchange body fluids indiscriminately with dozens of women, whose names they surely can’t remember shortly thereafter. And they did so at the height of their political careers, two while occupying the WH.

They disgrace their title, their wife, their children, their surrounds and their flock. Most importantly, they disgrace themselves. Some repent and some can not or will not ever stop.

These men expose themselves to numerous unknown pathogens and infectious diseases which can be passed to their wives or unborn children.

Fortunately HIV/AIDS was not circulating at the time. We can’t fathom the idea of a First Child of the WH contracting a fatal disease because their father had a ‘zipper-problem.’

Someone needs to conduct a long term medical study on the effects of unlimited sexual partners and the mental deterioration of the male brain. Older guys that have lived a life of promiscuity, especially Slack-Jaw-Slick, often appear to be functioning sub-par for men of their original intellect.

Just a theory based on observation.

And again, I fully agree with you that it’s still repulsive. I even said that was a very bad mark for MLK, one I do NOT condone (heck, I also get angered when characters like, say, Lumiere from Beauty and the Beast are treated positively for it). I also agree that they ultimately disgrace themselves, to say little about everyone else.

But at the same time, I can name plenty of people who were nonetheless very good and well-received people who have nevertheless engaged in infidelity, even the likes of Ronald Reagan (who BTW was divorced and remarried, which is a form of infidelity), and quite frankly, going by my personal beliefs, if I were to adhere to that line of thinking... well, let’s just say there would be a repeat of God’s flooding of the world, only there WILL be no end to it, all humanity destroyed because of it (yeah, I’m very fatalistic even as a Christian, a Catholic even...). I think Eisenhower was rumored to have engaged in adultery, and last I checked, he was considered one of the better presidents.

And I’m very much against Bill Clinton and his wife, so we’re not in disagreement. And while I do have a bit more respect for JFK compared to the other Kennedys for at least ATTEMPTING to fight the Communists instead of stabbing America in the back, to the extent that I view him as being closer to a conservative among the family even with his flaws, make no mistake, I’m not fond of him either.
