Yeah, so?
Yes, Assange should be hung. We definitely dont want to know what our government is doing with our tax dollars
While some of the info was useful, don’t mistake Snowden for a patriot...to maintain his own FReedom, he gave a lot of info to the Chinese and Russians..he’s a traitor who did a little bit of good mixed in with lot of treason.
Whistleblowers and investigative journalists should be imprisoned or worse. The people must not know what their government is doing. National security demands that our national leaders and rulers can do what they want with no pesky average taxpayers interfering or even knowing whats going on. Authoritarian states are so much more efficient and safe and secure
A little more info to bring light to a murky situation ...
The NSA was grown wildly after the Patriot Act under GW Bush and then even more so under Obama. In fact, under Clapper, another intel agency, bigger than the NSA emerged known as the NGA which tracks and records all geographical locations of persons, using a variety of means, not just smartphones.
So ... Brennan was the mastermind, Clapper was the facilitator and enabler, to bring about a massive surveillance state.
But one person got in the way.
Admiral Mike Rogers.
Adm. Rogers insisted that the law be followed, that FISA applications be executed as per law. They weren’t but he would intervene and insist that legal procedures be followed.
Adm. Rogers was Director of the NSA
Brennan was Director of the CIA.
Clapper was Director of the DNI.
Obama and Clinton wanted the ability to spy at will on any political opponent and for their people to create plans for sabotage.
Adm. Rogers was in their way.
Brennan unleashed through his chain a plan for Snowden (former CIA) to infiltrate NSA and ‘blow the whistle’ hoping to get material to sack Adm. Rogers.
Our first instinct is to be wary of this massive surveillance state (see key informant Douglas Montgomery ‘Hammer’) and for us to think Snowden was right to expose it.
We are led to believe Snowden is on our side. He is not on our side.
And where did Snowden end up? Russia.
Where he could unload US intel secrets to Putin’s intel groups.
Do we think it was just a random coincidence that Snowden ended up in the country that POTUS is accused of colluding with?
We are not fools.
Journalism has been dead for many years now.
I agree. We SHOULD be protected, but...if the Constitution is only paper to people we have to view as legitimate...then it won’t help us.
I feel much the same way. I am a 2nd Amendment person as well. I know you understand this, but a lot of people don’t.
The Left has been trying for some time to attempt to turn us into criminals. They are constantly trying to change the law, so that we are no longer in “compliance” with the law.
Well, I guess if it comes to that it will be pushing coming to shoving.
I have long looked at the concept of the number of laws on the Federal Register, and the fact that any American citizen is most likely in violation of the law (some law) at any given moment. There is simply so much law and regulation. When they need to pick someone up, it is a matter of them figuring out what kind of law a given individual is in violation of.
What they did in the Soviet Union.
Gun regulation will likely be one of those kinds of things if the Left succeeds, because I simply don’t see Americans surrendering their weapons.
Pushing and shoving. Pushing and shoving. It is what they do.
Great post, and summary of Assange’s value as a Barr witness.
I simply dont see Americans surrendering their weapons.>>>>>>>>>>>>
Why surrender them when we have all these 2nd amendment hidey holes for them?
:)
Just saw a huge mistake in this post to you but you likely understood it from context.
DOJ wants Assange, not Snowden, in the USA to testify the DNC email exposure was a result of a leak, not a hack.
