“Religion of peace.” That spewed out of Shrub’s mouth in the first couple of days after 9/11. He lost all credibility and the WOT at that moment. He did preside over our losing many, many of our civil rights. I guess in retrospect it was a civil rights war that was beginning. We, the people, lost that one.
You’re right; the baseless “religion of peace” comment, and the fact that mosques opened for “business as usual” on September 12th, made it clear our government had no interest in representing us.
Much of the hate speech/triggering/PC nonsense of today had its origins on 9/11, when our government and elites determined that nobody could criticize the barbarity that is Islam. Everything achieved at Tours and Lepanto had been erased by our enemies within; now some hooded terrorist represents a House district in Minnesota.
W was a deep state stooge as were the GOP nominees, McCain and Romney, who followed. While none were as bad as the RAT alternatives, all would have continued to march us on a path to Godless Globalism, albeit at a slower pace.
Especially when they refused to engage in profiling at our airports. Now we have morbidly obese Touch Sexual Area Agents groping 3 year old White girls looking for bombs.
