That’s not really important, what is worth doing though is getting links out there like the one I posted, and maybe the one you posted. Haven’t paid attention to it yet.
Sometimes people like the authors Fanning and Jones (F&J) of this piece get all high on themselves and their reporting, even deluding themselves into imagining that their reporting has become part of the story. (See the frequency of their phrase “we reported” and variations thereof.)
In F&J’s recent version of this article, they imagined General McInerny flew into action a breathless 26 minutes after an article of theirs (regarding this already three-year old story) hit the Internet, as if correlated juxtaposition equaled causation.
