At the time I knew he had been compromised just didn't know he had been "hammered". Now I do and it makes perfect sense.No telling what else they have on him either.

Doubt Scalia was blackmailable, but they could have used the info to figure out where/when to get him. Roberts.....the Obamacare ruling was troubling.

WHAT kind of blackmail would keep good Patriots from turning the tables and providing evidence that they were being blackmailed? In my book they would be heroes.
There has been speculation that Roberts’ kids were illegally adopted; well, those girls are grown by now and he should be man enough to take the hit for the sake of the Country to break something like this wide open.
I repeat: what could be so bad that true Patriots would remain quiet?? Unless it was threats on the lives of their family... and in my opinion, that would SCREAM to be exposed...immediately!

Sometimes people like the authors Fanning and Jones (F&J) of this piece get all high on themselves and their reporting, even deluding themselves into imagining that their reporting has become part of the story. (See the frequency of their phrase “we reported” and variations thereof.)
In F&J’s recent version of this article, they imagined General McInerny flew into action a breathless 26 minutes after an article of theirs (regarding this already three-year old story) hit the Internet, as if correlated juxtaposition equaled causation.
By spying on Roberts, they found the leverage with which to compromise and control him. Scalia however was clean, so they just smothered him with a pillow.
I agree that it’s best not to get too high on oneself.

I wonder if all that finger-pointing at Nork and Chinese hackers getting into the files of all federal personnel was actually cover for a data being stolen by the Democrat machine for their own use.

The problem with these “safeguards” is that there is no “or else what” clause.
The “or else what” clause is going to have to be “or else we will have to put those who abused the system to death as traitors” in this case, but what do we do in cases of abuse of a less overwhelmingly serious nature?
