Thanks for the informed reply. I do accept several of your points (i.e., the prosecution of the conspirators will be limited, as will the release of information; the involvement of the British government will be downplayed; and some cooperating witnesses will probably get off completely).
And the Roberts connection does not surprise me in the least. Think Operation Hammer. We really need to pry into this furtive program and find out how far back it goes and who the targets were.
The Barr/Durham investigations are not going to be the slam dunk affair that some may want to believe. In all likelihood we will have to settle for the exposure of wrongdoing by high officials instead of their incarceration. That said, at least one or two Obama officials will be singled out for harsher punishment, in my opinion. Very serious crimes were committed and the FISA abuses cannot be ignored lest the court be perceived as accepting fabrications as evidence.
Agreed. I’m hoping against hope that a few (Comey and Brennan in particular - both of whom I happen to know) will get fitted for orange jumpsuits. They’re both vile, despicable, self-promoting a-holes.
