Mormons see them as potential converts to the “Church”.
Because the LGS is so fast growing in Mexico the leadership hopes many ‘new saints’ will hurry here so they can be sure of their tithing is done.
They see illegals as slave labor. They are part of the cheap labor express. The LDS church supports open borders and illegal immigration.
Many of the members do NOT support open borders or illegal immigration, especially those that live on or near the border- but the church does.
Then the Mormons should get on their bicycles and peddle their asses down across the border to do their converting.
By playing along with the illegal invaders game, if that’s what they are doing, they’re just adding themselves to the list.
