I almost can't help but admire Muslims for the fervor with which they stand up for their family values. It helps, of course, that they are given a pass. Christians who stand up to this would be ridiculed and shamed. Their children would be bullied in school. They would be castigated in public as bigots and they'd lose their jobs. Their allies would be browbeaten into silence.
Muslims stood together early on and said, "We don't care if you don't like it. We will not compromise."
