“There are some states that we were very close in in 2016, Minnesota being one of them, New Hampshire being another … so I think that, you know, it’s pretty obvious to see what the states are that we fully plan to be competitive in, based on what was close,” Trump campaign Deputy Communications Director Erin Perrine told the Washington Examiner Thursday.

Clinton lost Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin by smaller margins than Trump lost Minnesota or New Hampshire. Concentrate on keeping those three and you don't have to sweat the other ones.

Minnesota can be flipped in 2020 with a good strategy. Also, as a conservative voter in MN, I and many others would appreciate some attention from the national GOP establishment.

Yesterday I saw a truck with a Trump 2020 flag flying boldly in the wind. Because of the hews media, here in Minnesota we still feel like we conservatives are outnumbered. Yet in my town and the 3-county area the vote went for Trump/Pence by about 65%. If Trump and Pence had several rallies including outstate like in St. Cloud, Brainerd or Mankato, he would attract thousands to see him. Little Falls seemed to be the center of Trump love going for him by about 75%! Then get the other GOP candidates up front with Trump to get out the vote down ballot.

The red/blue map of Minnesota in 2016 was nearly all shades of red!!! The problem we have is the overwhelming domination of the news media in the Mpls-STP area. Our state-wide office holders are all Democrat. It is because people often do not seem to care enough about those offices to come out and vote. I do blame the state GOP for some of that. What we need is a good Secretary of State who will clean up the voting laws
