Why to tolerant, inclusive, compassionate Liberals think that they have the right to censor speech that they don’t agree with?

Social justice is liberal political dogma invested with religious levels of devotion.

They hate the unbelievers. They think that all actions against unbelievers - including assault and property damage - are moral and justified as being for the greater good.

Hate speech laws are liberal secular blasphemy laws.

They aren’t crazy. They aren’t stupid. They are evidence that a political ideology that takes over education, entertainment and press, indoctrinating everyone to say they and only they are GOOD and must believe the modern tenets in order to be good ... sees the political dogma become a literal point of faith.

Through this lens, social justice bullies become understood as jihadis. The shaming and shunning of those who express contrary “hate facts” or use the wrong words is right out of the worst of 1700s Puritan society.

Social media just amplifies it to include thousands of strangers who will never meet you. The traditional shaming was limited by who was in the area and the fact they had to live with you afterward. Others join in the shaming to prove they’re “good”, while liberal bullies compete to be a cruel as possible because it gets them praise from their peers.
