Agree, he certainly doesn’t sound like Deep State to me.
People have to understand the TOTALLY SICK MINDSET now in play in DC. It’s not that the people protecting the Deep State, with FBI Director Wray being the latest, necessarily like the idea of the FBI running around spying on political campaigns, it’s that they think they are protecting the ‘reputation’ of the FBI, so it can do the remainder of its work, looking for terrorists, etc., effectively. These ‘protectors’ live in this huge fear that the public may lose confidence in the FBI and that has to be prevented, at all costs. They also think that Alex Jones, Rush, Hannity, and only a small number of their followers actually believe that there was/is some ‘conspiracy’ against Trump...but the rest of us, including the vast majority of Republicans know that the ONLY type of people who work for the FBI are Inspector Erskine types...straight, by the book, and never political.
They are clueless, but they often can only be outed AFTER they’ve secured their position of protection, I mean power.
The same applies with voting integrity. You see Republican leaders willing to lose majorities, and sometimes their own seats, and still say that our system is fine, with no fraud. How come? Again, they live in ABJECT FEAR of the masses losing confidence in our elections - and that is even more important to them than stopping people like Schumer...it is a VERY SICK mindset on our side, but we’re stuck with them until we can root them out.
It’s also worth noting that this ‘protect the system at all costs’ ONLY seems to happen on the Republican side - the Dems will trash anything, rightly or wrongly, to get their power. Sucks having to deal with that mindset on our side, but Trump and thankfully now Barr, are willing to at least trash the system, when it needs to be trashed, FINALLY.
concur! i live here in the swamp. The system needs to be nuked. It isn’t worth saving. No part except some yellowed old screed on display in the national archives signed in 1787, that isn’t even of sentimental value here.
Too late. I'm happy to see so many folks finally realizing what a criminal organization the FBI is. It's hard to believe they had any credibility after Ruby Ridge, Richard Jewel, and Waco, and many others but some folks are slow I guess.
