The guy is obviously a nutcase, and most people can see that, so why do you need to ban him? It’s the old “First they came for the communists, and I said nothing because I wasn’t a communist . . . “ sort of thing. They start with actual extremists, then they define extremism down, and before long anyone to the right of Stalin is an extremist, and Stalin ISN’T an extremist.

Listened to a little of his preaching on YouTube and he’s repulsive. That said...not sure he is any more repulsive than a lot of muslim clerics or ‘abortion rights until the moment of birth’ types in the democrat party.
I’m more of “The answer to bad speech is good speech” kind of guy. I get very nervous about governments deciding who gets to speak or not. And as a practical matter, the guy will get a lot more publicity now than he would have if Ireland just ignored him.
Europe doesn’t believe in free speech. It believes in near total government control. I’d rather see a debate between this guy and a real Christian than see government ban him.
