As a veteran, I swore an oath to “support and defend” and all that stuff. So I do NOT support the violent overthrow of the U.S. gummint.

However, that gummint, as created by the U.S. Constitution, is flawed. Rotten and putrid might better describe it. Hopeless fits too.

Now, if I were to suggest a REBOOT of the U.S. Congress — throw out every last one of the thieving bastards and elect new representatives and guardians of our happiness — is that the same as a violent overthrow? If so, then never mind.

How can you support and defend the Constitution when the people running the gummint thus created are nothing but liars and thieves who don’t care in the least what We The People want? At what point do we snap?

Supporting the Constitution does not require supporting vile thieves who defrauded their way into office, and who seek to destroy the Constitution.
