Sarah Mclachlan’s “Angel” was in a little movie called “City of Angels” with Meg Ryan & Nic Cage.
For some reason, that movie gets me - perhaps because a young Meg Ryan had a resemblance to my wife (literally, the-girl-next-door”) who lost a battle with cancer at 28.
In the movie, Nic Cage is an angel who “falls to earth” to become mortal and be with Meg Ryan’s character...who dies at the end.
