Linda Carol Walker "Mimi" Eaton

April 11, 1946 ~ September 19, 2018 (age 72)

        
Born in Burlington, NC to Howard and Celeste Walker. Preceded in death by her son, Andrew Howard Marcotte, mother Celeste Walker, father Howard Walker and sister Beth Beeson.
 
Survived by her husband Howard Eaton, her niece Stephanie Bryan (Scott Bryan), nephew Walker Beeson (Yumi Beeson), daughters Carmen D'Amelio (Michael D'Amelio), Ashley Benson (Bill Benson) and Casey Collins, who was like a son (Jessica Collins), and  grandchildren: Max and Finn D'Amelio; Vaughn, Ross and Aubrey Toler; Anna and Drew Bryan; William and Samantha Benson; Rui Kumazaki; Cooper and Emmett Collins; a cousin, who was like a sister, Jan Scott, and best friend Quig.
 
She is also survived by many loving friends and extended family. Linda attended Elon College and East Carolina University. She enjoyed co-managing The Attractions Band and planning family vacations. Mimi will be missed for her stinging wit, her great sense of humor, and her giant heart, unlimited compassion and generosity.
 
Services will be held at 2:30 PM, Sunday, September 23 at the First Presbyterian Church in Burlington. Officiating will be the Rev. Taylor Barner. The family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to charitywater.org or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
