A school district in Seattle has sent out a letter asking teachers to bless its Muslim students -- in Arabic -- during the month of Ramadan and give them preferential treatment, such as obtaining dispensations for classes and exams, reports Fox News.
And even more disturbing, the school's directive follows almost word-for-word an script put out by the terror-linked CAIR, the Council on American-Islamic Relations.
In response to the letter, the religious liberty legal defense group Freedom of Conscience Defense Fund (FCDF), has threatened the Dieringer School District with a potential lawsuit for violating the conscience of its employees. FCDF alleges that the district followed edicts put forward by CAIR) that advises schools to accommodate Muslim students by wishing them "Ramadan Mubarak" (Happy Ramadan) or "Ramadan Kareem" (Have a generous Ramadan). The edicts also instruct teachers to respect the Ramadan fast by not scheduling any tests during the holidays of Eid Al-Fitr and Eid Al-Adha. More from Fox News:
The defense fund claims Dieringer Superintendent Judy Martinson blindly followed the recommendations of CAIR and "enacted the letter as official district policy." The defense fund sent Martinson a letter stating their complaints after a teacher and parent complained about the new procedure.
The May 6 letter also warned Martinson about CAIR's anti-semitic advocacy and alleged ties to radical Islamists, which the group has long denied.

Submit or Die
Some parts of the country are willingly submitting.
I remember when they all got the memo to wish all the little Jewish and Christian children a happy Pesach and a Merry Christmas.
Nope, I don't see them on the LIST. It must be the trickle down effect that the tech giants are embracing. Actual screen shot in lobby of Facebook Headquarters taken by Laura Loomer.
The Feds should Pull all School Funding for this blatant First Amendment Violation, if this was reinforcing christianity they would have been Arrested!
I hope someone had the spirit to put an “it’s ok to be white” sign next to that one.
I didn’t know Dieringer even had a school district. /they are literally a bend in the road
Kowtowing out of fear.
CAIR should be outlawed along with the Muslim Brotherhood. Both are terrorist fellow travelers.
And this idiot with the school system should be fired post haste.
Yep! As they look & plan ahead, both the chicoms and the ragheads must be licking their chops...
You gotta be kidding. There was a nice big picture of Loretta Lynch though!
Yes, bless them, pray for Gods forgiveness on them, and that they convert and repent.
separation of religion and state funded schools - though islam is not actually a religion.
WA is one state I’ve not visited and I guess I missed my opportunity because I no longer have a desire to go there.
This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)
The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.
What about separation of church and state?
Try this with Christians and watch the weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth by the left as the school is sued into oblivion.

I was thinking something along the same lines.
If it were up to me, Id kick the butt sniffers out of the country so fast, their beards would evaporate. And that goes for the women too.
Leftists are making Christianity illegal and islam into the state religion.
We must fight back harder.
