Just about every cable tv owner in America pays a piece of their fee to CNN whether they watch it or not. CNN isn’t worried about ratings.
For the first time in decades the "package" system may be threatened. As more people opt out and instead pay for these new services, many of which might not have CNN, revenue models will change IMO.
