She did get a Ph.D. but later. It was in the same area, but finished up at NYU.

So, fresh from her studies, she took a head position at the Clinton Foundation... renamed the Bill, Hillary, and Chelsea Foundation, because Hillary was busy prepping for her 2016 run.
