As a KY native I can tell you that today’s KFC sucks.
When I was growing up in the 70’s they had great chicken, plus you could get livers & gizzards like a proper chicken joint.
But then in the 80’s KFC was acquired by Pepsi and they ruined the chicken and nixed the livers & gizzards.
None of the corporate entities who have controlled KFC since Pepsi have done anything to improve it.
I just never did care for chicken that much and won’t eat any of it unless it is breast..When I was small child I never got to the table in time to get the good piece only the neck.lol but true..We had to many in the family the good thing was I STAYED SKINNY THE OTHER GOT CHUBBY lol again..
I remembered that it made headlines in the Hartford Times when KFC was owned by Heublin which is now defunct (based in Hartford CT) when Harlan Sanders (no relation to Bernie) called KFC the worst crap he ever had...
