The Dems have put together a party of mostly fractional interest groups. Trying to juggle all the hot button, single issue pieces is impossible. Going to be fun to watch.
That may be the Dem’s plan, but I don’t think it’ll work. You don’t quiet a flighty horse by giving into it. And as we’ve seen over the last couple of years, the Dems have given into the demands of the loony left to the point that their crazy has become a part of who they are. Snakes can shed their skin; the Dems will find that shedding their crazy won’t be as easy.
Democrats might be going into the dustbin but liberals are working hard to take Fox News down with them... Here’s the latest:
Executives Are Very Worried Fox & Friends Will Be Next: After Taking Over Fox, Lachlan Murdoch Is in a Trump Trap
According to the link in post #20, the secret service limited admission to 10,000. But Trump and others say there were between 67,000 and 69,000 requests for tickets, which led to the crowds outside trying to get in. Next time, when the weather improves, he needs to rent Packer stadium!
Watching on Fox (which delayed until the last second to join and left just as quickly as he left the microphone), it was a fun rally - as he says "who doesn't have a good time at a Trump rally?" One touching highlight was when he acknowledged Sarah Huckabee Sanders. The crowd started chanting "Sarah, Sarah" and then he told her to come up to the stage and gave her the microphone. She gave a short extemporaneous speech quickly summarizing all he has done in just over two years, and she received more shouts and applause. As she left, to a hug and kiss from him, Trump said "I'm jealous" then followed with a laughing "You're fired." She is so smart and quick on draw, just a real asset to him, and like he is, she is despised and hated by the mainstream press.
It seems like more and more of the ‘center’ is finding it easier to embrace the crazy rather than step back and think things out.
Anyway, hope you are correct that the plan won’t work. As I said in the first post, if Trump stumbles, it could be bad for the country.
I know Virginia is a battleground state.
..............................
Watched Ken Cuccinelli on Mark Levin last night. How that articulate conservative got beat by that sickening fraud in the last election is a sad testimony to the ignorance of the majority of Virginia’s voters.
Sadly I agree with you...the frog has been boiled.
Their plan is to do what they did in 2018 to Wisconsin, PA, Ohio and MI, and that will make the difference. If they need 110% turnout to win, they’ll do it. They weren’t ready for it in 2016, they will be this time. Don’t fall for the notion that a good economy and foreign policy success guarantees a Reagan style landslide. That’s what they want us to think while they plot. There are some things that have to be done to protect the ballot, and if they are done, there will be a landslide, but we didn’t do them in 2018, and we don’t have a Republican House, so nothing can be done legislatively.
If they followed his advice, they wouldn’t be Democrats.
And besides, Trump is supported i a bunch of deplorable fools.
