A new survey has found that Americans are among the most negative people on the planet.

Gallup’s latest update on the world’s emotional state reported that 55 percent of Americans said they experienced a lot of stress in 2018, one of the highest rates out of the 143 countries polled and well above the global average of 35 percent.

The U.S. trailed only Greece (59 percent), the Philippines (58 percent) and Tanzania (57 percent) on the stress table and is tied with Iran, Albania and Sri Lanka at 55 percent.

The poll also reported that 45 percent of Americans said they felt worried a lot, and more than one in five, 22 percent of Americans said they felt angry a lot.

And according to Gallup, the economy's not the problem, as the survey found the levels of negative emotions are even higher than during the Great Recession.

*** Why would it be? Half the people on this site are constantly telling us that we’re living in the end times ***

I thought most of “those” were happy and excited about it.

Survey questioned a bunch of anxiety filled Trump/America haters, no doubt that detail is left out.

The humanitarian response would be to stop bringing refugees, migrants, and other invaders to such a racist, sexist, homophobic, intolerant, and negative place.

Having a healthy skepticism is a good thing, especially if you’re skeptical of liberalism. So, what’s the problem?

Yes. Whenever there is natural disaster, a tsunami for example, Americans are first on the scene. We’re generous and caring, an did they interview any churchgoers?

With all due respect oh, I don’t believe that. I think Americans are very optimistic, particularly given the climate today. I mean Donald Trump is a polarizing figure my sister hates him, I love him. His election has torn families apart. However she’s my sister and I love her and it doesn’t matter to me, her
politics

Yeah when you are carrying the bill for most of the world, things get stressful.

IF we quit sending these cesspools all of our money, I bet it would be a WHOLE lot different results

Not a surprise with the American media drumming a steady anti-American negative beat 24/7.

It’s hard to look at political and social trends in this country and not be negative.

It’s called “Balkanization”, and that’s exactly what’s happening to this country.

So I am not surprised. The MSM troublemakers have been stirring the pot since Nov. 2016. They can never “legitimize” Trump so they are constantly stirring up trouble.

I’m sorry if that’s the impression you got (sit back and try to isolate themselves from the problem until Jesus comes back to rescue them, never for a moment stopping to think, “What if Jesus isn’t coming back soon?”) but be sure that it isn’t your misunderstanding.

We in our selves want to address issues in both church and in world in a worldly way, with worldly principles, where Force and Bullying is King. Jesus offers copious breaths of the Holy Spirit to show people a new attitude. Just like a drowning victim needs rescue breathing and can’t bring the help to himself, so those lost in worldliness need the Holy Spirit.

All will meet Jesus, at the least, at the end of a lifetime. And their reward (and regret) will be based on what they did with His assignments to deal with issues in the church and world His way. Cop-out believers will have a high regret to reward ratio.

Jesus is the only one who can reconstruct what the devil destroyed.

The problem is that liberals are the ones who complain.

Clearly, Gallup didn’t survey patriots on this one.
