1) Who were the indigenous people in various Latin countries/territories at the time of the first European expeditions to the New World?
2) What were the ‘politics’, control, conflicts, human rights, religion and beliefs, economies, and way of life in those territories at that time?
3) How did the various indigenous people and tribes treat each other?
4) How did the transition from the Olmecs, Zapotecs, Toltecs etc. occur, and what blood was spilled in these transitions?
5) Are Hispanics/Latin Americans proud of their indigenous people background, their Spanish background, or both, and how does this relate to their treatment of indigenous peoples today?
6) What ‘sins’ did America commit that weren't also committed by the Spanish (or worse)?
7) Can European ‘whites’ ever be embraced as brothers and sisters by Hispanics in general, or will they always be thought of as the people who stole America and American-territories?
8) Why don't Mexicans and other Latin Americans call out their own governments for their corruption, but instead blame the US for the issues their nations face? 9) Why, after seeing what happened in Cuba and Venezuela does anyone in Latin America think Communism is a good thing? This is just for starters, but in my opinion these questions and discussions are essential to address, or we can never move forward.
