Iran's Revolutionary Guard successfully carried out a surveillance flight over a US aircraft carrier, Tasnim reported.
The drone flew over a US warship in the Persian Gulf, as well as over the USS Dwight...

So the US Navy captured the electronic signature of the drone, already re-engineered it and within a month will have a weapon to shut them down, if they haven’t developed the weapon when all this drone stuff started.
Good move Iran.
Over international waters, unarmed, probably not only spotted on radar but also videod in flight with all the dimensions and capabilities noted. One Buuuuuuurp would have downed it in a mini second at a mile+ away.
And they got an eyeful of the very tip of the iceberg of American military power. Good luck fighting that.
3k Mexies invade US every night
Drone overflies US carrier
Gosh I WONDER which one should take priority, ya know..?
Im really surprised that the Navy would allow any hostile aircraft to fly over any of our ships.
That drone could have been packing an explosive device and people could have been injured and our ships damaged.
Why gamble with these Persian terrorist?Afterall they state that they hate the Great Satan.
Well, it’s done. Time to make lemonade that they’re pi$$ing their pants.
I believe this is what the Navy did when the Chinese slipped a sub into the AC’s wake. We only let things get that close when there is no direct threat and we can gather intelligence from it.
When I wa on a carrier in the 70s Russian bear bombers
Flew over our ship, Russian destroyers would come within a 1/4 mile
Cant really do anything in international waters
Next one may have a nuke on it.
I think the navy is probably very familiar with the design because it is modeled after the one Obama let fall into the Iranian hands
Thanks Eleutheria5.
The key word being hostile. This is a situation where I'm inclined to think zero tolerance.
We also know where it was launched and probably by whom.
Time for another industrial accident courtesy of our Israeli friends.
Since it’s highly probable that the drone was purchased off of Amazon, I’m fair sure the hack package is already available for download.
So the Iranians got a photograph that they could have downloaded from the internet? Wonderful accomplishment. How much did it cost (assuming you didn’t actually download the image from the internet)?
I generally dont believe Mooselimbs.
It only over flew it because we wanted it to...
In my day they would fly over, but with an F 14 so close off their wingtip there must have been some serious pucker factor on their part.
