Pete Buttigieg still has to prove himself in the wider world. He does entertain some pretty parochial notions and tends to oversimplify some complex questions.

We got together in HS and ran a friend of ours as the communist alternative for class president.
Made propaganda posters. It was during the height of the cold war. We won.
Then. The principal overruled the election recognizing we were incredibly bright pranksters and gave the class presidency to the loser.

The media is pushing hard to ignore the elephant-sized question in the room: is America prepared to elect an open homosexual to the office of President? My unscientific sense is that a majority, perhaps a solid majority, of people under a certain age would answer ‘yes’. But that is not proven and there certainly many people in the ‘no’ category. The media will not acknowledge the question because they want to establish the irrelevance of gay-ness and gay lifestyle as beyond dispute.
Where is Pete Buttplug’s Husband????
I hope he mentions that as one of his qualifications for the office in a debate.
