Then, why...when I visit our local library...are there so many blacks in there you can’t find a seat?
Maybe we should re-publish all books on black paper, with white ink?
Anything to bitch about that might bring them a buck or two.

Wife and I went over to the Cairo (Ill) Public Library. It’s a nice little library in a great 19th century building. Anyway, when we got there we saw a school bus parked out front, so we expected to see the library filled with kids. But it was empty. The librarian laughed when I told her I thought there’d be kids in the library. It was empty except for us and the school bus driver who read and did research there between shifts. I should point out that he was a black gentleman, but apparently he has not been able to pass on his love of reading to the kids he transports.

Ah, so you want to take white from just being a background and make it the foreground now? /s

There should be a “Colored” section of the library, where everything is printed on black paper, using black ink.

Larry Elder has told a story about going to a library in LA, and outside the library, black kids were doing fantastic tricks on their skateboards. Inside the library, nothing but Asian kids studying.
