Especially considering there have been suspicious church fires in France recently, and it was Notre Dame that burned during Holy Week.

Most people were probably not thinking "construction accident" as the first likely cause.

Also it needed to be constantly renovated year round- Up to now they had managed to do that without burning it up😒.

Not sure a terrorist group wouldn’t have taken credit for this by now or tried so hard to make it look like an accident during renovation.

Seems more legit to ask if one of the 12 “workers” left equipment running.

That said, if it’s a loan wolf, I’d be checking the payroll of the contracting company.

I have no bone to pick with fire-watch, hot work permits and all that sort of thing that I used repeatedly in my career.

However:
Everyone should be aware that the first alarm was at 6:20 and the FD checked it out and then LEFT. 25 Minutes later the Cathedral fire is fully underway.

If this was the contractor’s fire detection that alarmed and then was not sufficiently checked out, we need to rethink a ready scapegoat.

They were working on the spire, so welding isn’t out of the question.

I only saw three full episodes. Probably while staying in a hotel.

One with the guy in the wheelchair and Gus(?) in the suit there.

The other was the very last episode with the Cadillac.

Those two were pretty interesting.

I saw the previous episode where he buys the Cadillac but don’t remember much about it.
