No, there is nothing proper about journalists rudely shutting up guests who have credible information to share. Shep;s guest did not point the finger at anybody, only suggested that there have been a lot of church fires lately. This is factual information that is critically important to understanding what occurred. The second largest church in Paris had a fire just a month ago. Information like this absolutely should be linked in a news story. Lack of linkage would be a falsehood in this case. Journalism is not an exact science, but to report on a fire at the largest church in Paris and not mention that the second largest had just burned as well, is a sin of omission as far as I’m concerned. Just two cents from a professional journalist.

The guest had no credible information to share. Shep was correct on this one.

Now pointing out that the previous attacker, from 2016, had just been given a long prison sentence three days prior to this attack !
