Cause of the fire unknown at this time, renovation project just started and other fires and vandalism have occurred in Paris at other places. The 8th Air Force and the RAF are not under suspicion at this point.

Muslims are not under suspicion either, even though I have little doubt they did it.

Had the construction project not been underway, that would have to be at the top of the list. But a construction accident must be ruled out first.
