Anonymous second hand sources? Hey, I know a guy who knows a guy who is sure he saw Bigfoot. (no exaggeration) I also know a woman who has a friend who claims to have been abducted by aliens. (and the woman I got this from absolutely believes her friend) Of course this woman I know is literally certifiable and sadly chooses not to take her meds but...
Hey, both of these are anonymous second hand sources. I guess they have about as much credibility as the NYT. Actually I'd give either of these sources more credibility than the NYT. At least these people genuinely believe what they are saying, aren't knowingly lying.
