if you do not believe that marijuana or THC has negative consequences

Alcohol has negative consequences - should it be banned?

Did I say the word banned? I don’t believe I did, so you are putting words in my mouth and I do not appreciate that.

What I do know is that there is a term used which dates back thousands of years and the term is intoxicant. The root of that word is toxic which relates to a poison.

It is a freedom of choice if one chooses to poison themselves. It becomes a dangerous choice is if one chooses to poison themselves and then drives down the road or act in such a way that kills, maimes, and destroys. That intoxicated choice overstepped personal freedoms and inflicted pain, suffering, and a loss of freedom negating ANY choice for those whom have become victimized by the intoxicated choices of others.

Responsibility goes hand in hand with choice and freedom.

Consequences? Sure. Quality of life? Sure. But they are choices too. Am I on the hook for paying up on someone’s else’s poor choices? Sure I am, just like ever other taxpayer.
