Close the border than then tell congress it stays closed until they do something to fix the problem.
If republicans don’t like it, who cares, screw em.
Security is more important than trade!

Oh the Libertarians must be wetting themselves over this. Nothing as archaic as nationhood is gonna get in the way of my property rights! /s
No thanks. Lets just stick with the organized militia, whoever that might be..
DAMN STRAIGHT!
COMMENCE DEPORTATIONS!
If Congress will not act to protect the American people President Trump will. By stubbornly closing down all trade he will create enough outcry to prompt Congress to act.
My thought exactly. I have the necessary tools and the will to use them. I am retired so my schedule is open. My tools are sighted in to take out a drug runner at a safe distance. My AK47 I bought new but the blade that came with it looked used.
Lets show everyone what the words “well regulated militia” in the 2ndA means.
Without security, trade is nothing.
Taking it to the extreme, a world that has devolved into chaos cannot support orderly transactions and commerce.
“to kill unarmed Mexican women and children”
There’s the big problem. We can’t do that.
Why are these masses of people coming to America? Because their government has made their countries unlivable.
The solution is for America and allies to go in and change those governments.
Terminate the welfare state in every shape, matter, form+. Shrink govt, restore personal responsibility & Rights: win, win & win.
Those caravans would turn on a dime; less strain on hospitals/schools; the illegal slave labor trade would dry up & leave more time for govt to prosecute/jail the govt employees/employers+ that violate the law.
The need for a border wall would be near ZILCH, saving even MORE taxpayer $$.
Not a DIME spent and *all* legal/Constitutional.
Course, this is why nobody supports (L). /s
Stopping the trade train will make Mexico think again about helping the illegal invaders reach our border...and a declaration of a total shutdown also empowers the border patrol and others to not play as nice as the “business as usual” FUBAR.
We let the border stay WIDE open for decades destroying us instead of closing it down 20 years ago.
Now we have to pay up.
Bring it on, arm us and we will shutdown the border.
YES. The Governors can do this as well. Hell I will pay for my own way (as in the past excursions). Just authorized it
I doubt it. Back in '04 for the Minuteman month long foray, we were only able to get a little over 800 people to show up during that entire month. Volunteers did not have to stay the whole month, just a day or so. I know, I still have all the records.
People like to be keyboard warriors but when it comes really being out on a night op facing armed drug dealers and smugglers, the weak SHOULD not answer the call.
But it does hurt Mexico. That’s the most important thing. They are running a soft war on the United States by flooding us with their undesirables.
Closing the border will put pressure on Mexico and our Congress to act to stop this train wreck. Mexico does not allow illegal immigration into their country, but for years has allowed illegals to travel through to ours.
Due to the court rulings, Congress needs to rewrite our laws on asylum. Congress also needs to rewrite our other immigration laws so that they can actually be enforced.
I would rather see this country shut down all immigration than close the border; get out of treaties that obligate us to accept anyone on the door step for asylum. Just stop allowing any immigration for any reason until we get this under control. Finish those in the process but shut it down.
The border is out of control, our immigration laws are out of control. This has been decades in the making but we have to regain control.
Crops spoiling at the trucking terminals.
Leverage.
Mexico can stop the flow of invaders and sell the crop, or
the invaders can eat the crops on their way to the USA
Cant close without wall
