Even here on FreeRepublic we cannot get agreement on upholding the Constitutional restriction of natural born citizen only for President.
Natural born citizen was chosen to restrict the office to those who were naturally Americans because they could not possibly be anything else.
Born here of citizen parents.
People who claim to be conservative want to make Anwar al-Awlaki’s kids eligible just because their favorite Cubanadian is ineligible.

My take based on nearly 72 years is, if you weren't born and raised here, you don't understand. I guess the last 30 or 40 years has ruined that. 😳☹️
