I agree, though this sounds more like a horrible mistake at the end of the night by someone trying to do the right thing (not driving drunk). She bears some responsibility, but around normal people this would have just resulted in her being told to beat it - and she’d resume waiting for the real Uber.

The smarter thing would have been not being out alone, impaired at 2 AM.

For God's sake, why not just offer to be the designated driver/drunk wrangler? You'll never lack for friends if you offer to be the person staying sober.

The other day my friend, a guy, said his uber was accross the lot but another uber tried to pick hin up. He had to run across tbe lot to show the other uber driver the picture on his phone...and until he said is this you to the driver, the other person did not come out of the uber. Duh to the other 2 Uber drivers and the other passenger!
