I would think Islamophobic should be a normal reaction if you are a patriotic American. If you have a natural resistance to being snake bit, would that be a phobia, too? If you claim to be a real American & are not Islamophobic, then something may be wrong.
We aren’t afraid of Islam. We don’t give it that much credit. Phobia means fear. We are disgusted by that heinous cult that is NOT a religion at all. It’s something a pedophile mad man made up as he went through life killing and raping. Does that sound like something you should fear?
