I’m sorry. I have misunderstood the meaning of “hit piece.” I appreciate getting news about the promise of Kurd freedom from Turkish domination. That oswhat I wanted to say.
OK. I did not understand.
I’ve stongly supported Syrian Kurds since before Kobane.
At times my posts tried the patience of some of my friends here on FR. But many have come to join me in the support. At times I got private messages encouraging me about it.
As I came to understand the struggle better it was easier for me to filter the Truth from the Noise on the web and Twitter.
And I developed relationships in Syria that educated me about the reality there. Those I consider dear friends.
I’m to the right of many of them politically, but that is not really as important when you consider the situation there. Some of that was because there was no other option.
I have mixed feelings about Apo, and certainly toward some of the PKK leadership.
This situation in Turkey and Iran for Kurds makes me very sad. There are no easy or good solutions there.
