Erdogen has pretty much destroyed Turkey’s chances of becoming a civilized country — and Christians, jews, Armenians, kurds, Greeks and everyone else only survive by hiding their presence as much as possible. It’s a crying shame - especially since Turkey looked like it was heading in a positive direction before this guy took over
Turkey has never been friendly toward Christians (Armenian, Syriac, Chaldean, Orthodox), Jews, Ezidi, Greeks, (more recently) Kurds.
Kemal put Muslim extremists in box when he took power, every time they got foothold the CHP (Kemalists) had a military coup and put them back in the box. I doubt they can put Erdogan “back in the box”. He will probably go when someone plants him.
Or when someone conquers Turkey.
