For a while, when I was going to good old U of M, I used to live there. Now this is back in the 70s, when Cedar-Riverside used to be Berkeley on the Mississippi, Riverside Plaza (where I shared an apartment) was still pretty new, and the Cabooze used to be just a bar with a bunch of pool tables and a small stage. The worst thing about the area was the cooking smell from the the Hmong who occupied some of the apartments at the time.
