The executive director of the Jewish Democratic Council of America, Halie Soifer, told Hill.TV's "What America's Thinking" on Wednesday that recent remarks from Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), which some have called anti-Semitic, have not signaled a shift among Jews away from the Democratic Party.
"Absolutely not," Soifer told Hill.TV's Jamal Simmons when asked if Omar's comments were proof of a Democratic drift away from Jewish voters and support for Israel.
"What we've seen in recent months has been select incidents, and Representative Omar is one such example, where we've had elected officials that were criticizing Israel, but invoked anti-Semitic, negative stereotypes about Jews, and we've called that out," she continued.

There is nothing new under the sun. As it was in the time of Christ, so it is now as far as jewish alignments go. There were Pharisees. There contemporary analog would be conservative Judaism. There were Sadducees. They were ones who favoured blurrung Jewish identity as much as possible. Seeing it as provincial and narrow minded. They wanted to be as Greek as the Greeks and as Roman as the Romans. Leftist American Jews like J Street etc are pretty much modern day Sadducees. The final camp were the zealots and nationalists. Zioninists and Israel would be a modern analog. Now from the jew hater perspective, it matters not what camp Jews belong to. The Pharisee and Zealot camps are entree and main course. The Sadducees will be tolerated for a bit longer. They can try and “de circumcise” themselves figurativelly speaking, but in time they will be devoured as a desert for the devil.
We'll see, but I am very skeptical of any measurable shift among Jewish voters occurring even with another 2 years of this anti Jew filth by the left.

This man’s response reminds me of an episode of The World At War when a Jewish woman asks a Nazi soldier while waiting at the station to board one of those trains, something to the effect ... that she heard horrible things were happening to the Jews where they were being relocated to which the soldier said to the woman in a consoling tone ... that it was nonsense and they were not barbarians.
