Not sure Google did this. Google would link to a site. That site might have falsified the founders list, but Google wouldn’t be responsible for that. If Google blocked a search, that would be a different matter.

As Patrick Moore explained, when you Goolag "Founders of Greenpeace", his picture no longer comes up at the top of the Goolag search with the pictures of the other founders, although it did two days ago.

They have some scrubbing work to do, though - the Greenpeace website has a picture captioned "In 1971, motivated by their vision of a green and peaceful world, a small team of activists set sail from Vancouver, Canada, in an old fishing boat. These activists, the founders of Greenpeace, believed a few individuals could make a difference."

Searching the picture with Goolag, you can get a Canada.com website that identifies these "Founders of Greenpeace" by name.

Patrick Moore is still one of them. :-)

If you do the search now, near the top is a tweet from Patrick Moore saying it was because Wikipedia was edited.
