Start an investigation as to whether SNL is doing an in-kind contribution to the Dems

Also, when the Collusion report comes out demand a retraction from all networks, and if they continue to push collusion then sue them and try to take action with the FCC for biased and slanderous broadcasting.

As long as Donald Trump stands as President of the United States the likes of SNL, talk show hosts, talking heads are this.

Smoke and mirrors, a filthy flatulent smell.

It will all burn itself out. Perhaps the President should just ignore these losers.

Steer her straight.

SNL is also being sued for stealing content. It’s well-known that they’ve been stealing from old MadTV skits for some time. I’ve seen the comparison clips on YouTube, I’m not going to waste my time actually watching SNL to look for it myself.

Comcast/NBC has to start filing tv station license renewals, starting on June 1, 2020 with WRC-TV, Channel 4, in Washington, DC. The public has until September 1, 2020 to file protests called “Petitions to Deny”. Believe it or not, the Supreme Court in the so-called “Red Lion” decision circa 1970 that there is no first amendment right inherent in a broadcast license—the standard is whether the incumbent licensee has acted as a public trustee, and whether renewal of license would serve the public interest, convenience and necessity.

NBC has blatantly engaged in “intentional news distortion” for years. This is a recognized ground for the FCC to conduct an investigation and to hold hearings before an administrative law judge. All Freepers should participate at the FCC—you can file petitions and comments electronically. You need to cite specific examples of NBC affiliates intentionally distorting the news.

After the Dinesh D’Souza case, any idea that we should play fair has to go out the window. As long as these laws exist they should be leveraged against Democrats to inflict the maximum amount of pain possible.

Hear, hear.

And before one of you starts up with the "sinking to their level" virtue signaling, tell me how many victories we've won by giving the left a pass on their behavior.

"SNL is running a political campaign against Trump. That’s a political contribution."

And if SNL was running a political campaign on every show, against a sitting Democrat President, the Dems would have already started investigations, and filed complaints with the FEC.

“Trump, even if joking, shouldn’t threaten investigations.”

I feel like I’ve come to understand Trump’s technique a bit and this feels more like a tweak, something to draw attention to a subject.

Many folk watch SNL and other shows but don’t see enough to notice how one-sided they can be. Even my friends who watch SNL think they just mock everyone equally.

Anyone remember Not Necessarily the News on HBO in the 1980’s? It mocked Reagan at the time.

Have you noticed that a favorite democrat phrase has disappeared. “We are a nation of laws.”

Much better to ignore them then take their bait and respond.
Its SNL, no one takes them seriously. They attack every R President.

Trump asking a question in a tweet is “threatening” them?
