“...get a solid antenna...”

I am not tech savvy - would it work in an apartment? can you recommend a brand?

We have spectrum bcause that is what our apartment complex offers: I think it spectrum is part comcast. I would love to be able to watch OANN.

We currently have the Marathon antenna (available at Amazon) inside on our second floor. It has a base to let it stand, if you don’t want to put it outside. It is positioned near a window and gets us over 70 channels from almost 55 miles away. It’s the best to be found. Size: 21 in tall, about 12 in wide (before rods added), and 4.5 inches deep.

We have an Antop antenna (Antop AT-207B Flat-panel Indoor HDTV Antenna With Smart Pass Amplifier Black from Newegg) that worked on the first floor apartment, surrounded by buildings, and was 40 miles from the same antennas. I hung it with Command strips up near the top of a wall facing the window pointing most toward the towers. It got 35 channels.

Both filter 4G cell signals and amplify.

Give an antenna like these a try. You won’t be sorry.

Spectrum or Charter is NOT part of Comcast.

A Roku or similar device will let you stream OANN for $6 a month over your Spectrum connection, without issue. It looks like broadcast television.

If you have Amazon Prime already, everything free in Amazon Prime’s Video area comes to your Roku for free. No extra cost. They even have free content in 4K resolution, if your Roku and television both support it (ours does).

Get the Roku Ultra for its 4K ability (it lets you see other content, too). We bought our first non-tube TV last Black Friday and it came with the Roku Ultra in it. The 55 inch Sharp was only $249 at Best Buy. We watch Prime Video at night for an hour, but also local channels, as desired.

No cable fees except our $45/month Internet with Charter/Spectrum.
