We’re something like 70 times the population of New Zealand, brimming with guns, and yet we haven’t had a massacre of this scale against Muslims, at least that I can think of (despite some pretty big massacres in the opposite direction).
So what gives? Answer: The FIRST AMENDMENT. We can DISCUSS our issues, mainly Immigration, without risking jail time. I’m not positive about New Zealand, but it’s likely the same as Western Europe, where that discussion is basically outlawed, being considered a ‘hate crime’...and costing people money, jobs, and jail time.
Good point. Now let’s discuss what government action will most likely be called for.
1. Severe restrictions on or outright scuttling of the 2nd Amendment.
2. Severe restrictions on certain types of speech. Can you guess which kind and by whom? If not by government certainly by private institutions. Especially social media.
3. A shutdown on any discussions that raise legitimate concerns about mass illegal immigration and the people and businesses that benefit from it.
Now what side of the political spectrum desires the first and second of these, not Conservatives. And which class of persons most benefits from the third? Hint they have a lot of influence in DC and can be found in both parties.
