Is there a single institution in this country that has any integrity?

That’s a fair question to ask. We know beyond any shadow of doubt that our politicians lie to us incessantly. If their lips are moving they are lying to us.
Our two tiered legal system professes blindness under the law but we all know that is simply not true. Moreover, the courts are blatently political, driven by ideological views and harboring resentment for those who oppose their views.
In the business world lies and false representation are a mainstay of selling products. We see it so much we don’t even think about it anymore.
The point is our political, legal and economic institutions have become corrupt to a dangerous degree. Now there’s little question that our educational system is infested with integrity problems, to put it mildly.
I fully realize I am just about alone in this but for decades I have been a very serious freeper and paid careful attention to what has been going on with a firm conviction we could and would eventually act to save Our Country. This year I gave up Hope for Lent and have been much happier. As I look at the US today there isn’t much I would lift a finger to save. Now my hope is for what comes after and the day seems to be approaching rapidly.
