I didn't hear about this during Obama/Bush years. I doubt Hillary cronies would have done much. US Atty Lelling is a Trump nominee, member of Federalist Society.

Holy crap - how embarrassing is it to be the kid your parents had to bribe the school $6.5MM to let you in?

I always wondered what the shoe repair ringleader did after absconding with Jerry's tennis shoes after 47 years.

I don’t get it. Were AOC’s parents rich?

I guess this means parents will have to help their kids cut the line ahead of the other, more deserving kids the old-fashioned way: by Affirmative Action.

At least nine athletic coaches and 33 parents, many of them prominent in law,
finance, fashion, the food and beverage industry and other fields, were charged. ....

Authorities said coaches in such sports as soccer, sailing, tennis, water polo
and volleyball took payoffs to put students on lists of recruited athletes,
regardless of their ability or experience. ....

Unless this ends in more than just a couple of scapegoats in prison orange, it will mean very little.

I see the Hollywood figures getting fines and suspended sentences. Cost of doing business for a Hollywood libtard.

I found the righteous indignation on the part of Princess Shovels Bull to be both funny and nauseating at the same time.

Don’t let these SOBs plead guilty and walk away without testifying, naming names etc...

Someone with some time on their hands needs to start looking at FEC reports to see who all these people gave money to the last few election cycles.

Methinks that would be VERY telling!

I went to BC and will never forget Maria Shiver’s eulogy for Tim Russert.

Back story - Tim Russert’s kid went to BC and Tim would show up to basketball games and paint his chest with BC. He’d also wear a BC tie on the news. As an alum - we loved it. He was great for attendance.

At his eulogy, Maria told a story about her daughter being waitlisted at BC. They asked Tim “Can you help us out here?” and his response “Hmm, I don’t know, you kind of have to know somebody here”.

Was very proud that BC wasn’t just letting a Kennedy in for being a Kennedy. Also was upset because a lot of us thought “who cares if she isn’t bright - we want to see Arnold with ‘BC’ painted on his chest at games!”

It’s funny looking back - Shiver’s daughter ended up at USC.

Isn't this Felicity married to actor William Macy (of "Fargo" fame)? So why is the wife being allowed to take the fall and not the husband as well? Typically both parents are involved in funding education for their children.

You also have to think that this is tip of the iceberg. Wealthy people purchasing a college degree for their dumb, useless and spoiled children is nothing new under the sun.
