As you watch these hypocrites in action, be assured that they themselves are completely BLIND to their own hypocrisy. In their minds, all the inconsistencies lie with OTHERS, never themselves. No matter how flawed the construction of their beliefs, short of a “come to Jesus” moment, they shall not waver. Epiphanies are a very real phenomena, but relying on them to occur in others is a very uncertain way to go through life.

We may only live our own life, and pray that the exemplary nature of our best selves somehow poses a new virtue signaling for the benighted among us.
