The average mind is completely incapable of understanding the distinction between telling a person what he ought to do and forcing him to do it.

Amazon is not a private company; it is a publicly-traded corporation regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Nota Bene: IPO = Initial PUBLIC Offering. Operating in the Private SECTOR does not equal being a Private COMPANY.
