Our propane shut off in the blizzard. In the morning we called the propane company, city was shut down but he got out and to our place by noon, took ice off the filter out back, showing my husband how to do it, then refused to charge us anything. It’s a 35 minute drive one way. Businesses here still treat people like people.
That’s awesome. And even though 50 years ago was about when I was born, I’ll take it any day of the week over what we have going on today. My mother frequently talks about how much better things were in the 40 thru the 60s. Then the 70s hit and things started going downhill.
