This particular one was NEVER enamored with FDR because he was about as Left in those days as it was possible to be and still get elected - and the Left never had me, not with my grandfather having had to run from Communism in Russia and most of his family stuck there. The failure to do anything to help Jews during our worst time in history is even more reason to DESPISE the SOB. Alas, not too many of my fellow Jews feel this way...but some of us assuredly do.

It makes no sense. It’s like descendants of Italians murdered by Mussolini paying reverence because he made the trains run on time. And FDR didn’t even make the trains run of time. ;)
